How We Helped Don Cafe Restaurant Create a Strong Online Presence

For over 10 years Don Cafe Restaurant has been serving West Palm Beach, Florida and surrounding areas as the area’s premier Latin Restaurant.

Most of their business was existing clientele that visited the restaurant often.

The Challenge

Although Don Cafe Restaurant had been in operation since 2004, they wanted to take their business to the next level. They had a website with no content, broken links and no following.

 

Based on this Think Freely Marketing Group was tasked with 3 distinct goals to help grow Don Cafe’s online presence:

  1. Redesign their website and make it mobile friendly
  2. Optimize Don Cafe’s Google Business listing and create all major local listings.
  3. Grow Don Cafe’s social media presence

 

Website Development

We designed a website for them using a Restaurant template we found online due to their budget we couldn’t design a custom site. The website was mobile friendly and we added all items from their menu.Additionally, we used Search Engine Optimization techniques like adding schema to their dishes.

Local SEO Marketing

In the screenshot below you will find an old Google Analytics report that shows you all the referral traffic they are receiving from sources like Yelp, Urbanspoon, Google Maps, South Florida Menu Pages, Facebook and, Yellow Pages.

Here is what we did:

We manually create profiles in all of these directories. We had the Restaurant make all their main dishes and had a photoshoot with all of their dishes and staff pictures. We then used those pictures and posted them on their local citations. This helped bring traffic to their website and it gave Don Cafe Restaurant other channels to advertise their business and let potential customers find them.
